The 2” lube oil pump from Reliance has the new upgrade from John Deere, which has a threaded port for outlet tube.

On some of the early lube oil pumps, the outlet port has an O-ring style fitting for the tube that feeds lube oil to the block. On the updated lube oil pump, this outlet port is threaded. If you are installing the new style lube oil pump into an early engine, you may have to obtain the following parts from John Deere: 1) R79560 Adapter, 1) R79563 Sleeve, and 1) R79526 Fitting. These parts will allow you to reuse the old lube oil tube to the block.
