OVERSIZE BALANCER SHAFT BUSHINGS FOR

300 SERIES 4 CYLINDER ENGINES

The 300 Series four cylinder engines use left and right side balancer shafts to absorb inherent engine vibrations. These balancer shafts are supported by bushings and those bushings have a tendency to spin in their housings.

To repair this condition during engine rebuild, Reliance offers an oversize bushing part number NR-91708. Before installing these bushings, the block requires align boring of the bushing bore to a dimension of 1.7022–1.7033” (43.237mm-43.263mm). Refer to the illustration and chart below to determine how to align bore the affected bores.
