FLYWHEEL MODIFICATION

MODIFICATION OF FLYWHEEL MAY BE REQUIRED ON SOME

EARLY 4010 AND 4020 TRACTORS AT OVERHAUL

Some early design 400 Series engine crankshafts are no longer available as service parts. The hub of the substitution for this crankshaft has been changed and now incorporates a centering guide or step on the face of the hub. As a result, the flywheel previously used with the flat-faced hub will need to be modified by machining a 2.835 inch (72.01mm) hole in the center.
